THE REV. AUDREY M. DUNLAP, (Retired Detroit Conference Clergy) died December 23, 2009, at the age of 86. THE. REV. JAMES H. McLAURIN, [retired Detroit Annual Conference Clergy], died December 12, 2009. A private memorial service will be held after the winter months in Paradise, Michigan. Rev. E. MARION KITCHENMASTER, spouse of the late Rev. Charles F. Kitchenmaster [Detroit Annual Conference Clergy], died October 24, 2009. HELEN P. BAILEY, age 89 of Portage passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at her home. On May 30, 1942, Helen married the Rev. Lester C. Bailey in western Pennsylvania. Rev. Lester and Helen served the West Michigan Conference of the United Methodist Church in Grand Rapids, Portage, Battle Creek, Ionia, Cassopolis, White Pigeon, Charlotte, and Coldwater. She was a gifted artist and worked as a school bus driver in many of those locations. Helen was a member of the Oshtemo United Methodist Church. Helen is survived by her children and their spouses, Linnea and Paul Oswald of Portage, Mercia and David Foster of Mt. Pleasant, Charles and Shana Bailey of Grand Rapids, and Celeste and David Flood of Mattawan; seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two sisters. A celebration of Helen’s life will be held at the Oshtemo UMC on Sunday, November 1 at 3 p.m. with Pastor Suzanne Kornowski and the Rev. Brenda Deily of Heartland Hospice officiating. The family will greet friends immediately before and after the services at the church. Interment of her remains will take place in the Memorial Garden at the Gaylord United Methodist Church at a later date. Memorial contributions are suggested to Heartland Hospice, 8075 Creekside Drive, Ste. 120, Portage, MI 49024. Envelopes will be available at the memorial service.

OLIVE MACAULAY, mother of the Rev. Elizabeth A. Macaulay (Detroit Annual Conference Clergy), and the Rev. Thomas P.
